OmniSil woven cloths are a new generation of continuous
filament amorphous silica materials available in several thicknesses and
weights. The intended use for these products are in all high temperature
applications where the need for thermal insulation and/or protection is
required. The OmniSil cloths are hygienically safe and provide a viable
alternative to asbestos, fiberglass. refractory ceramic fibers and the
other contemporary silica products where safety, performance and cost
effectiveness are the key issues.
All the OmniSil cloths can be coated with a variety
of elastomer coatings to improve surface abrasion and toughness. The
fabrics can also be aluminized for increased radiant heat reflectivity and
can be cut, sewn and custom fabricated to specific customer requirements.
